Julie Mims
Julie has been involved with the Children’s Theater at WBCT since 2008, when her daughter, who was 8 at the time, auditioned for her first play. Since then, she has painted sets, mended costumes, assisted back stage, acted on stage (Mama in Sinbad, Mrs. Slocum in Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Godmother in Twice Upon A Time) and stage managed/assistant directed A Christmas Carol, Wingin’ It, and Cotton Patch Gospel. Julie works for Gwinnett County in their legal department and lives in Winder with husband, Ken, and daughter, Wendy. In her spare time, she enjoys many hobbies, such as drawing/painting, making jewelry, writing, photography, obsessively propagating plants, and feeding stray animals.
