But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.

Almost, Maine is an ensemble piece featuring nine different couples in various stages of falling in or out of love. We need a minimum of two men and two women, but we can cast as many as 10 men and 9 women. This allows more than four performers to participate, and it potentially reduces the number of rehearsal hours required for each actor. The ages of the characters are variable but are between ages 18-40 somethings. Actors will rehearse only when their scenes are called. A tentative rehearsal calendar will be provided at auditions but may be adjusted to accommodate major conflicts. Please bring a list of any calendar conflicts with you to auditions.

NOTE: Some scenes will require male/female kissing, so a couple would be ideal for two of these roles.

If you are not offered a role, please consider participating as a member of the Almost, Maine crew and/or set-building team.
