WBCT Presents Check to Local Food Bank

Recently Tery Overbey, President of WBCT, presented a check to Gwen Hill of the Barrow County Benevolence Ministry for the local food bank. Winder-Barrow Community Theatre presents a portion of their ticket income to a local nonprofit group after each of their Main Stage Shows. “The Dining Room” was the latest show, and because the show was about a dining room, the food bank was chosen to receive the money from the proceeds of that show.
The next show will be “Sinbad” on July 15-16. This will be our Children’s Summer Show, and it has actors from ages 5 to adults in the cast. Be sure to mark your calendars for this wonderful show and plan to bring your children and grandchildren to see “live” theater.
